Oriental medicine has several branches or healing modalities.  They Include Acupuncture, Medical Qigong, Chinese Body Work, Nutritional Counseling and Herbal Formulas.

Acupuncture uses needles at specific points on the body to access energy and help to bring the body into balance.

Medical Qigong is the energy medicine of Chinese Medicine.  When mastered, through years of practicing moving and stationary meditations, it enables the practitioner to do remarkable healing with little or no direct contact of the patient.

Herbal formulas are given to continue balancing the body at home between acupuncture treatments.

Chinese Body Work includes Tuina (massage), Cupping, Acupressure and Reflexology.  These are used to loosen muscles, relax the patient and move energy throughout the body.

Nutritional Counseling, from an eastern perspective, uses whole foods to aid the body in healing.

These and other techniques are used to treat patients of all ages.
